You are about to embark in a new type of fully-deluxe leisure pop music, an all-inclusive package of pleasure experiences created by holiday entertainment hero Ergo Phizmiz. The third and final instalment of the Leisure Pop Trilogy, following STR tapes “Elmyr” and “Plaza Centraal”, “Owl And Monkey Haven” is departure from the Festland of popular song, via Kreuzfahrtschiff, to the exotic tropical islands at the heart of Mitteleuropa. The program is, shall we say, active: from sensual populist aquarobics to motorik surveys of infrastructure, sessions of intense Freudian purgation to just a cheeky bit of retail therapy, all potential tastes are comprehensively catered for. More demanding visitors might wonder if perhaps there is a special guest artist? Get fucked. There are no less than four. The magnificent Depresstival returns on vocals, rapper/funeral director MC Geoff Leather spits bars, Pete Murphy slays all woodwinds with his woodwinds, and Waterwight becomes water. This entertainment unit is dedicated to DJ Nipsy.
