Learning by Listening Vol. 7 is a guide to two variations of the game Tavla. Narrated in Turkish, Apel Okuyan explains the rules while contrasting the version he played as a child with the modern version played by his own children and grandchildren. Chorchill’s beautiful kosmische pastoral accompaniment of cycling themes and layers mirrors the mechanics of the game evolving over the passage of time.

Learning by Listening is an educational, instructive cassette series designed to bring the information of the world into your home, and your brain.
